 
Why Invest in KINGMAN and Mohave County?Slow Ecomony? Flat Ecomony? Stocks or 401K in the tank? Welcome to the new world. There is no sure and safe bet these days, no matter how hard you try. One thing that stands out above the rest even when the housing market, your 401 and the DJIA is in the toilet - it's still Real Estate. Inspite of Dodd and Frank.Kingman is in the "Sun Belt". Lots of people moving from California because of their new tax rates. Real Estate in Arizona increased 26% over a period from 2000 to 2006. (Divide 26% by 6 years) THEN the unbelivable - an 89% jump in the housing market. Who would have guessed. So, the short of it is that we in the Mohave Valley area are not really in a "Recession", but more of a "Correction". Stock brokers know what to do in a correction. Unfortunately, most of the rest of us don't. The really old adage of "Buy Low, Sell High" comes to mind.That said, there is probably no better time in the History of the U.S. (Except maybe 1980) to invest in the real estate market. Give away prices. Tax Incentives. First Time Home Buyers $8,000 free money. Seller concessions. Some banks even talk to us sometimes when they are not out to tea. So you are probably asking... what do I offer that differentiates me from the other run of the mill real estate agents? Probably not all that much I guess. Maybe a tad more honesty, absolute ethics and the I have been there, done that thingy...But, if your goal is to invest, I can get you the best deal on local homes (Short sales, foreclosures, etc) (even commercial property) and then turn it into a Rental really quick. Lots and lots of people are moving here, but are too afraid to buy because of the current market. SO? What do they do? RENT. As Accredited Buyers Rep, I can boast of never having lost an Escrow - no matter how bad is was. As a Property Manager, I can boast a less than 10% vacancy rate.
